Working group meeting to review the model EAC civil aviation regulation
18th Feb, 2019. EAC CASSOA organized a joint Working Group meeting of AVSEC experts, Legal Experts and Drafts persons to review the harmonised Civil Aviation (Security) Regulations in line with provisions of ICAO Annex 17. This meeting was opened by Ag. ED Mr Philbert Bakilana and is expected to run for five days.
The meeting will consider and review the proposed amendment of the EAC Harmonised Civil Aviation (Security) Regulations, the existing EAC Harmonised Model Civil Aviation (Security) Regulations and also review the draft to develop the Draft Model EAC Harmonised Civil Aviation (Security) Regulations among other business.
