7th EAC Aviation Symposium to be Held in Mombasa, Kenya
The 7th East African Community (EAC) Aviation Symposium will take place from 14–15 May 2026 in Mombasa, bringing together aviation stakeholders from across the region and beyond to discuss the future of aviation in East Africa.
Organized under the auspices of the East African Community Civil Aviation Safety and Security Oversight Agency(CASSOA), the symposium serves as a strategic platform for raising awareness and addressing key issues affecting aviation safety, security, and sustainability at both regional and global levels.
Theme of the 2026 Symposium
The theme for the 7th edition is:
“Advancing Aviation Excellence: Towards Connected, Sustainable and Safer Skies.”
This theme reflects the region’s commitment to strengthening collaboration, improving aviation safety standards, promoting sustainability, and enhancing connectivity to support economic growth and regional integration.
Objectives of the Symposium
The symposium aims to foster dialogue and collective action among aviation regulators, airlines, airports, and industry partners. Key objectives include:
