Airbus Helicopters, KCAA and CASSOA to Host Regional Helicopter Safety Seminar in Nairobi
Nairobi, Kenya – 11 August 2026 – Airbus Helicopters, in partnership with the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) and the East African Community Civil Aviation Safety and Security Oversight Agency (CASSOA), will host a regional Helicopter Safety Seminar on 11 August 2026 at the Tamarind Tree Hotel, Langata Road, off Carnivore Link Road, Nairobi, Kenya.
Held under the theme, “Advancing Helicopter Safety: Building Resilient Operations for Today’s Challenges and Tomorrow’s Opportunities,” the seminar will bring together aviation regulators, helicopter operators, pilots, engineers, maintenance organisations, safety professionals, manufacturers and other aviation stakeholders to explore emerging trends, share best practices and strengthen helicopter safety across the East African Community (EAC) region.
As the aviation sector continues to evolve through technological advancements, changing operational environments and increasing regulatory expectations, the seminar provides a timely platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing and collaboration aimed at building safer, more resilient helicopter operations.
The seminar will feature expert presentations and discussions on key issues shaping the future of helicopter operations, including:
