1^st Nov,2021. A delegation from East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) paid a visit to CASSOA as part of their oversight activities in the Community. The Executive Director of CASSOA, Mr Emile Arao and management, received the honourable members.

It is with a heavy heart we bring you this sad news. Our colleague Mr. Arthur Rurembesa has gone to be with the Lord on 14^th of October 2021. The entire CASSOA family is greatly saddened by the loss of our brother, friend and a colleague. He was a family man and an IT exprert with vast knowledge of aviation. Please remember his family and us in your prayers.

Church Service is Scheduled on Tuesday 19th of October 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. The service will be at Ggaba Community Church in Kampala, number of people allowed will be 200.

Notice is hereby given of the Fifty-Fifth Civil Aviation Safety and Security
Oversight Agency (CASSOA) Board Meeting to be held on Friday, 27th August 2021
at 1000 hours East African Time (EAT) via Video Conference.

17^th May 2021, the newly appointed Secretary General of East African Community Hon. Dr. Peter Mathuki visited the Agency on Friday 14^th May 2021. The Speaker of East African Legislative Assembly Rt. Hon. Martin Ngoga, Judge President of the East African Court of Justice Hon. Justice Nestor Kayobera and other member of staff from EAC accompanied him.

We would like to inform our stake holders about the upcoming 54^th EAC-CASSOA Board Meeting. The meeting will be held via Video Conference on Friday, 21^st May 2021 at 1000 hrs (EAT).

German cooperation helps mitigate COVID-19 infection risks for EAC’s airline staff and passengers

East African air­space shut down in mid-March in an at­tempt to pre­vent the spread of coro­n­avirus.  Now, as air­ports across the re­gion pre­pare to re­open, it is vi­tal for the safety of both staff and pas­sen­gers, that all in­volved in the avi­a­tion in­dus­try are trained and well versed in how to deal with COVID-19 and other in­fec­tious dis­eases.
